When you press the "weigh" button the Lilypad App should then display "weighing" until a weight is added to the scale. However, if it continues to say "weighing" more than 30 seconds after a steady weight is added then this is a problem.
This will generally happen for one of the reasons described here:
Cause: Weight was on the scale when the Lilypad App connected.
Solution: It is important to have no weight on the scale when the Lilypad App connects. To solve this, remove any weight from the scale, then reconnect by closing and then reopening the Lilypad App. Then roll onto the scale and press "weigh".
Cause: Scale is not properly connected.
Solution: Try to reconnect by closing out of and then reopening the Lilypad App.
Cause: Weight is not steady enough.
Solution: In order to display a weight, the weight on the scale must be held somewhat steady. If the weight on the scale is constantly shifting around then it may fail to start displaying the weight. If you think that this is the case, then try holding very still after pressing "weigh" or contact us by emailing support@lilypadscales.com or calling 1-855-590-5459.
