Users with Android phones may sometimes get an error message saying "Oops! Something went wrong!" or have other troubles connecting and using their scales. Unfortunately this is mostly not a problem on our end, but rather a problem with the Bluetooth hardware in the Android phone itself. Android phones vary in the quality of their Bluetooth hardware, so some phones will have no problems, while other phones may have a lot of difficulty.
Since it's a problem with the phone and not the app or the scale, it is not something that we can directly fix. However, there are a few things you can try:
- Try just hitting the "reconnect" button multiple times and see if it happens to work out eventually. There's some degree of variability in how often it fails, so sometimes after restarting enough times you can get lucky.
- Try toggling the Bluetooth off and on. Go into your phone settings, turn off Bluetooth, wait a few seconds, and turn it back on. Then try reconnecting and doing step 1 if it doesn't work the first time.
- Try restarting your phone, then attempting to connect to the scale and doing step 1 if it doesn't work the first time.
