Sometimes when troubleshooting the Lilypad Scale we need to see more detailed information about what is going on with the pads. In order to do this we use free third party apps, 'Light Blue' for iPhone, and 'BLE Scanner' for Android.
For iPhone:
Download the 'Light Blue' app from the app store. It will look like this:
Once downloaded, make sure that Bluetooth is enabled and open the app. You should see a screen with multiple peripherals called "Lilypad SG Pad 2V", which looks like this:
The signal strength value under the blue bars on the left hand side of the screen is important for identifying pads. Watch this video to see how to use Light Blue to identify, connect to, and then look at the data for a pad:
For Android:
